What inspired you to work in the financial industry?
The financial industry offers many aspects that I find fulfilling, both personally and from a career perspective. Being able to simultaneously be creative and analytical to solve complex financial issues while having the opportunity to truly impact our clients’ lives is deeply rewarding. With this industry constantly changing, knowledge really is power, and I enjoy the challenge to continuously educate myself to better serve our clients and our community.
Why did you join Dowling & Yahnke?
It was the reputation that the Firm has here in San Diego for being exceptional. The Firm’s reputation for genuinely caring and serving the San Diego community is inspirational. After meeting the staff at Dowling & Yahnke, I was impressed by how thoughtful, friendly, caring, and highly talented they are. At that point, I knew this was a place that would allow me to flourish and give back to clients and the team. This is something truly unique in this industry.
What is the best concert you ever attended?
One of the best concerts I have ever attended was U2 Vertigo Tour at Madison Square Garden in New York. This was my first time visiting New York City, and the performance of the band along with the energy from the crowd was an experience I will never forget.
What is your favorite hobby?
My favorite hobby is sailing because it forces me to be present in the moment. Time seems to slow down. Many of my best memories are being on the ocean under sail, witnessing the incredible wildlife, and watching the sunset.
Do you have any pets?
Yes, I have a Jack Russell Chihuahua mix that was a former stray. You would never know by looking at her today that she had such a rough start in life. She has such a sweet and loving disposition along with incredibly funny mannerisms. She is a very special member of our family.
